Default Sneak Peek of ECGridOS v3.0

The development environment is on fire right now. Here is what is coming in ECGridOS v3.0:
  • URL CallBack Support - Register a URL which will receive a Form POST each time a specific event is triggered on the system (e.g. New Parcel in InBox).
  • Native AS2 integration with multi-tenant hosting, certificate support (automatic updates), etc.
  • Native GISB/NAESB communication support.
  • Augmentation of Interconnect/Relationships to support ongoing life-cycle support, ad hoc attachments to notes, etc.
  • Ad hoc additions to Parcel/Interconnect manifest with attachments (e.g. user generated error logs, diagnostics.
  • Persistent value storage w/increment functions (e.g. for API storage and control of control numbers.
  • Enhanced user/contact information profiles.

Keep any eye here for more announcements. Feel free to include ideas for other enhancements.

Default Any news on when?

Hi Todd

Are there any news on when we can expect ECGridOS v. 3.0 to be ready?

I have got prospects that are today running their own AS2 server, and who might want to transfer to ECGrid when they can set up their own AS2 connections through ECGridOS.... and that is what I understand will be possible in 3.0, right?

Best regards
Jesper Carstensen

Jesper:

We are just completing Alpha-testing of the AS2 conponents. We have been using it inhouse for our own AS2 for nearly a year now.

A user interface to create and manage AS2 (no need to mess with the API, which is available if you want it), will be rolled out in the next few weeks.

E-mail me if you want to talk about specific prospects, because we can get the on-line immediately if you require.
