Default Mailbox config timeout

We started getting email notifications of new data in a new mailbox we set up on our network the other day. From what I can tell, this is because I did not change the default NoticesContact or InBoxTimeout which defaulted to the our network administrator user and -1.

I tried setting the InBoxTimeout value to 3 days (3 * 24 * 60 minutes), however it doesn't seem to allow any values larger than 255. Also, when I try and set it back to -1, that too is rejected.

I am not certain that we as the network administrator, nor the EDI person at the company wants to receive an email every time they receive data in their in-box, and 255 minutes is not a long enough duration to make it through the weekend.

Am I trying to change the incorrect values?

Lonnie, you are correct you should be able to use any Short Integer (Int-16) greater equal to -1.

I found the problem in the SQL stored procedure call within the code. The update will be in place shortly.

Thank you for pointing this out.

How about times greater than 255 minutes?

It is now properly allowing a Signed Short Integer, -1 up to 32767. Do let me know if this is not the result you see.

It allowed me to set both a -1 and a larger than 255 value. Thank you.
